RECORDING INFORMATION

Born is the sensational debut album from the stunning all-girl string quartet who have rocked the world!

Since the release of their first single Victory, Bond have snatched no less than 10 number ones. They have reached Gold status seven times and Platinum five times from countries such as the UK, Austria, Holland, Chile, Australia, Turkey, Italy, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Sweden, France, Bulgaria, Switzerland and the US. They are the first female string quartet to ever appear in the pop charts in the UK and are also the Guinness World Record holders as the highest ever selling string quartet.

The band were the opening act on the MTV Asian music awards in Singapore performing a sensational duet with the Safri Duo. Since then they have performed sell-out concerts in Korea, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and China. Their music was also used by three ice skaters during the Winter Olympics 2002 delivering an instant solus spike.

The album has been released in several different versions with remixes and new tracks as well as on DVD and VHS (Bond Live At The Royal Albert Hall). It has now sold over 1.8 million copies.

Bonds distinctive image and musical style has been a huge hit, fusing classical virtuosity with an array of musical influences. Later this year (2002), their eagerly awaited follow-up will arrive – you will not be disappointed.
