Mozart's cycle of piano concertos is commonly regarded as one of the most important contributions to the history of the genre and the later concertos are all individual masterpieces.

Mitsuko Uchida's acclaimed cycle was recorded following extensive public performances and Mozart has remained central to her repertory throughout her career. This programme features five concertos and a subsequent volume will contain five more concertos from this cycle.
