RECORDING INFORMATION
In 1999, The Mummy was a worldwide box office hit, with the soundtrack selling nearly 100,000 units. Now The Mummy Returns with the original cast of Brendan Fraser as mercenary adventurer Rick O'Connell and Rachel Weisz as Evelyn, now his wife.

The new film has a cast which includes WWF star The Rock, John Hannah and Oded Fehr. Writer and director of The Mummy Stephen Sommers returns for the sequel. The original music is by Alan Silvestri (The Mexican, Cast Away, Forrest Gump).

The year is 1939, 10 years have passed since the last adventure. Rick and Evelyn are now living in London with their son Alex (Freddie Boath). The bodies of Imhotep (Vosloo) and the previously unsuccessfully resurrected Anck-Su-Namun (Patricia Velasquez) are innocently transferred to the British Museum where they are foolishly brought back to life for a second time. But this time they are not the only forces born of the darkest rituals of Ancient Egypt to be unleashed on the world.
