RECORDING INFORMATION
Beethoven has been central to Ashkenazy’s repertory throughout his career. He first recorded a cycle of concertos with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Solti in 1972 and he returned to the studio after years of public performances to record a new cycle in 1983.
