ABOUT THE TV SERIES
Enterprise is the new TV series set at the beginning of the Star Trek Saga, 100 years before the adventures of Captain Kirk. This series is a "prequel" to the sci-fi phenomenon which began in 1966 to "boldly go where no man had gone before".
The series takes place in the year 2151 and introduces us to the pioneering days of space exploration, where the possibilities offered by deep space travel are only just beginning to be realised. Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap) stars as Captain Jonathan Archer, leading his crew through a universe which portends both danger and awe.
The soundtrack is being released in the US to coincide with the end of the top-rated series (which premiered in the US last September with an exceptional audience of 12.5 million viewers), and will be available across the world in 2002. Star Decca tenor, Russell Watson, sings the theme song to the series, "Where My Heart Will Take Me", written by Diane Warren. In addition to the full-length album version of this track, the soundtrack also features the shorter TV version as a bonus track (not available on any other Russell Watson album), as well as an interview and video clip of him performing the track. This enhanced CD also contains some exclusive features for Star Trek fans including a screen saver and interviews with the cast and crew.
