ABOUT THIS DVD

To mark Puccini’s 150th anniversary, a new compilation of the best-loved Puccini arias and ensembles sung by a host of the greatest opera stars.

Top artist line-up includes Pavarotti, Domingo and Te Kanawa, with the legendary Herbert von Karajan conducting many of the performances.

A compilation of great Puccini arias and ensembles taken from various performances. The tracklist remains similar to the Puccini Gala VHS/LD but now comes with two exciting bonuses – the end of Act I of La Bohème, sung by Kiri Te Kanawa and Dennis O’Neill, and Bryn Terfel as Scarpia singing an extract from Act II of Tosca.
