One sound I will never forget is that of Renee Fleming's voice in "Or sai chi l'onore," in the Met's telecast of DON GIOVANNI. The sound was like hot silver, or like scalding water coming out of the tap. And you were absolutely right when you said the role of Desdemona might have been written for you; to be sure, this is your greatest role.

Not only is Renee A soaring soprano, but she has a true passion for all aspects of music. I have been so lucky as to have seen her in concert in Fort Worth, Texas. Lately, I've been showing my 20-month-old granddaughter Annaliese videos of Renee Fleming singing arias and songs.
